Maui Wildfire Relief Project
Give direct to the families of Lahaina. Donate to someone you know. Grassroots, boots on the ground, common sense. In a world where little makes sense at the current time. This will be a revolving and massive effort with thousands of moving parts. There is no end to what our families need. Mahalo for your kokua.
Relocate, Renew, Rebuild, Reoccupy
This is a project spearheaded by `Ohana Maui Youth Foundation and funded by the lives we have affected for the past 15 years of community service. Donate here to be assured your funds go to non politically controlled individuals and corporate government entities.
Our mission is a grassroots effort to restore Lahaina families back to some sort of normal life in the middle of this chaotic experience.
RELOCATE
Direct funding for our foundation's families to leave the area immediately to seek help.
The first goal of our project is for people to find a balance for short term housing and essential needs, followed by mid term housing ,during their rebuild and then return to occupancy after it is deemed safe and clean up is completely done.

We are working with as many families as we can to concentrate on finding housing, filing claims, applying for available programs, forgivable construction loans and SBA loans. Our goal is to help navigate those lanes of forward thinking and to provide these families with information and resources as they become available.

REBUILD
Navigating and providing resources to help our families rebuild .
Our mission during the Rebuild Phase of our program is to help as much as we can with our network to make sure our families are able to connect with the resources needed in order to rebuild homes.
This requires massive efforts for owners of houses and businesses. Not to mention, without our homeowners and business owners rebuilding on proper timelines, there will be no local rental spaces available or business locations for jobs.
RENEW
Youth services, activities and mentorship for those who are in Lahaina
While our youth athletic, agricultural and cultural programs were at its peak, the wildfires of Lahaina happened and everything came to a halt. The world of our youth changed overnight and now, more than ever, they need the support of the community. Our goal in the Renew phase of our project is to provide the youth with services that will enrich their lives. We would like to provide the youth with athletic, agricultural and cultural programs. Services will include arts and craft projects, active programs, mentoring and learning experiences.
REOCCUPY
Our belief is somewhere in the next 5 - 10 years, the state and the city will have the cleanup and reinstallation of Lahaina's infrastructure complete. They will hopefully address the concerns over the fire protection ideas and direction they are moving forward. Only then would our foundation and our families have an interest in reoccupying our homes. At that time, we will work with our families to move back into Lahaina. We will assist with the move in process with moving trucks and man power. We will assist with furnishings and construction projects.
